Barterthing.com has immediate openings for a software engineer who specializes in the development and implementation
of web services in the .NET environment.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelors in CS or EE
- 3 + years web development experience using Windows Technology
- 2+ years developing with ASP.Net and ASP.Net 2.0(C# or VB.Net)
- Solid development experience in C#, Classic ASP, SQL
- Experience with Master Pages and Ajax
- Solid understanding Object Oriented concepts
- A solid understanding of relational databases and experience writing SQL queries
- You must be skilled at taking HTML prototypes and turning them into well written ASP.NET pages.
The .NET developer will report directly to the President of the company
and will be responsible for the development and delivery of custom web applications from concept to completion.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in the design, development, and at times, testing of web applications using Microsoft Technologies.
Maintenance of existing web applications.
Develop software in accordance with agreed upon schedules and established best practices.
In depth knowledge of:
.NET 2.0 Framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
Microsoft Visual Studio/ Debugging Techniques
SQL Server
IIS / Hosting Environments,
Web Services
HTML, XML, PHP Scripting
Also helpful but not required:
Microsoft Certification
Knowledge of other programming languages
Microsoft SharePoint Experience (Portal Server 2007)
Microsoft Commerce Server Experience
Knowledge of Content Management Systems
